Pickup Details
If your arrival is today, you will require some time to relax and unwind yourself after landing. Negombo is located within 15 Minutes drive from the Airport.
Please mention the name of your hotel if you want us to pick you from a hotel in the area. If the pick-up is from the Airport, please let us know the flight number and the arrival time. If you are arriving to Sri Lanka by a cruise, please let us know the cruise name and the time we can expect you for the pick-up.
Day 01 - Negombo
We will receive you from the Colombo airport and transfer to hotel in Negombo. Negombo is the nearest main city to the Airport. We have choosen this option as you may be arriving Sri Lanka after a long flight. Definitely you will require proper rest before starting the tour around Sri Lanka.
Beautiful Negombo beach is ideal for evening relaxation. You hotel in located on the beach and you do not require extra effort or extra time to go to beach.

Day 02 - Kalpitiya
1. Beach
Negombo is a beach city and visitors can enjoy it all year around. There are nice restaurants, shops,. pubs etc you will find as you walk around, Definitely you will require proper rest before starting the tour around Sri Lanka.Beautiful Negombo beach is ideal for relaxation. 2. Fish market
Being an Island, Fishing is a big industry in Sri Lanka. Negombo is one of the biggest fishing area and Negombo fishing market is attracted by thousands of people everyday, They start the day around 3.00 am. A kind of busy place.

A guided boat tour at the Negombo lagoon will be an interesting activity (Optional) They take you around the lagoon in a motor boat & show around. There are some birds and animal species you can expect to spot during this tour

4. Roman Catholic church
One of the oldest Roman Catholic churches located in Negombo with the history over 150 years. Negombo has been influenced greatly by the Christian faith from the time it was occupied by the Portuguese. It is often called “Little Rome” in view of the large number of churches in the city.

Visit the Fort of Trincomalee originally built by the Portuguese in 1624 CE. See the stones that once formed the Koneswaram temple before the Portuguese destroyed it. Listen to the history of Fort Frederick, which was dismantled and rebuilt by the Dutch.

2. Thirukoneswaram Kovil
Visit this ancient temple praised by famous Indian poet-saints and mentioned by several famous personas around the world. See the beautiful murals describing the history of the temple. Worship at the little cave shrine that is has its start in 1580 BC, as compared to the actual temple which was developed in 400 BC. Marvel at the giant statue of King Ravana who, according to legend, worshipped this shrine.
